Object Number - UPL 15402 - 1950's Jack Beeney in front of the Buick Plant where he worked in Flint, MI.

My Father (Jack Beeney) was 1st Lieutenant/then 2nd Lieutenant in WWII 8th Air Force, 357th Fighter Group, 78th Fighter Group, 363rd Fighter Squadron and 83rd Fighter Squadron. He died when I was just 14 years old of Cirrhosis of the Liver. He drank a lot. It was so sad to watch him die like that. He loved to fly and had lots of stories about WWII. I wish I could remember them.

Awards: AM, WWII Victory, EAME Distinguished service and American Campaign medals.
