Description: V-1 MISSILE SITES

Notes: The bomber force was scheduled to hit 14 V-weapon sites but is recalled because of cloud cover. However, 3 squadrons of B-24s do not receive the message. Two of the squadrons abort based on decisions by the squadron leaders but one squadron proceeds to bomb this V-Weapon site. Only 486th Bomb Group manages to bomb.
