1 B-17 from 482BG was despatched on a special night operation to Huls, Germany. Aircraft dropped 2 2000lb general purpose bombs an a 1000lb photoflash in an "Oboe"test. No losses or claims.
Also 4 B-17s from 305BG/422BS were despatched on a night operation to drop leaflets on the cities of Bremen, Oldenburg and Hamburg, Germany. 2,090,000 leaflets were dropped. Ther are no losses or claims.
