Description

13 B-26s from 387BG fly a diversion for the B-26 formations attacking at Merville and St.Omer/Ft. Rouge, France. There are no losses or claims. This element is escorted by a force of 128 P-47s from: 4FG; 56FG; and 78FG. These fighters were to perform a sweep but this action was cancelled when VIII ASC Mission 13A was cancelled.
