5 F-5s and 5 Spitfires are despatched from 7th Photographic Reconnaissance Groupon photo recce sorties over France in the Pas-de-Calaise area to document damage inflicted on V-Weapon sites by heavy bombers eaarlier in the day. 1 aircraft was recalled due to weather and another aborted because of failures in its oxygen system.
