#1 War Eagle, B24 H, Pilot Clyde Albert Stevens, 764th Bomb Squadron, 461st Bomb Group H.. War Eagle flew 50 missions before going down over Linz Austria. Clyde was one of the few surviving original crew members because he was in Air Operations while co pilot got his last mission of 50.
