Printed caption on reverse: '"We are doing fine in England and get along well with the British who are very willing to help us," is the message sent home by S/Sgt. Gunner Durward L. Hinds, of 1307 Waterloo St., Los Angeles, Cal. Aged 24, S/Sgt. Hinds has taken part in 10 missions and been awarded the Purple Heart, the Air Medal and Oak Leaf Cluster. He was formerly with the Pelton Motor Co. at 13th & Figueroa St., Los Angeles. U.68. Not to be published before April 20 1943.' On reverse: Current Affairs Ltd, US Army Press Censor ETO and US Army General Section Press & Censorship Bureau [Stamps]. Struck out 'Passed as Censored' [Stamp].
