A memorial to airmen of the 379th Bomb Group in Holland. Their B-17 Flying Fortress nicknamed "Sara Jane" crash landed near Nijelamer on 7 May 1944, four crew members bailed out and evaded capture, the other five airmen were taken Prisoner of War at Stalag Luft III.
