The main entrance to Duxford airfield, Spring 1945. Officers and enlisted men are walking from the living site areas across the A505 Royston-Newmarket public road. The Officers’ Mess building is on the extreme right, on the far side of the road. The sentry hut notice warns that military vehicles are not to leave the technical site unless on official business, This location is currently the staff entrance of IWM, Duxford.
