This Eighth Air Force insignia was found on a wooden partition in a wartime Nissen hut near Ketteringham. It was presented to the Headquarters staff of the 2nd Air Division USAAF on their reunion visit to Ketteringham on 29 July 1990. Three American Red Oaks were planted in the churchyard at Ketteringham St. Peter to commemorate the 43rd conventionof the 2nd Air Division Association.
