B24H 42-95224 "Lonely Heart" 790th B.S. The aircraft was involved in a mid-air accident with the Group's P47 on August 22nd 44 during a practice mission. Serving with the 791st at the time, the nose was severely damaged resulting in a casualty to the nose gunner.
