This photo is of my paternal Great Uncle, Joseph Carter, and his crew and B-17F aircraft. I believe the insignia to the right of the words "Carter and his Little Pills" is the insignia of the 304th Bomb Squadron.

Captain Joseph Carter was my paternal Great Uncle that I never got to meet. This photo is of him and his crew, along with this B-17F aircraft in December of 1942. I believe the insignia to the right of the painted title "Carter and his Little Pills" is the insignia of the 304th Bomb Squadron.
