8 July, 1943 41-17792 crashed Massicault, Tunisia on takeoff piloted by Lt. Robert C. Burns. Copilot Douglas Taylor was injured, one or more vertebra were broken or cracked. Taylor was confined to a body cast and returned to duty in September 1943. Taylor is the send from the left the remaining crew are not identified.
