Recently riffed after the end of WWII, Dad returned home to Hot Springs, AR. This is his entire immediate family. You can make out the Lieutenant insignia on his lapels. His dad owned Tom’s BBQ across Central Avenue from the horse racing track. Everyone went there after the races. Today the same structure is occupied by “Rocky’s Pizza.”

Dad’s own photos and documents he left to me and my sister in his Will (she didn’t have a place to store them and I did, so I kept them to this day).

Family photos Mom took and left to us when she predeceased Dad. I turned out to be the keeper of all family photos and documents.
