Lt. Charles D Garneau, On November 29, 1943, the crew was part of a raid on the city center of Bremen, Germany. The aircraft was attacked by several enemy fighters. A hail of 20 mm cannon fire blew out the nose panels of the aircraft, killed Lt Garneau, wounded Lt Grove, and possibly killed two of the gunners...
