These pictures were taken by my father , Paul D Anderson Jr., in Lintz, Austria just after V-E Day while they were flying POWS and French Displaced Persons back to Paris. He said they boarded up the bomb bays in the B-17s and crammed people in the there and the radio room. Some ground crewmen road along and were allowed to tour the area a bit. They were however cautioned not to touch anything due to the possibility of booby-traps.
