March 9, 1945 - Pilot: William C. Hunter - Plane: Blessed Event - Mission: Frankfurt, Germany - Flak damage to nose turret. Kept mission information on bob tags: Frankfurt, Germany Mar. 9, 1945 Carried M-17s and 100 lb Gps to a jet aircraft factory. The flak was intense and accurate. We got a lot of holes. Creamed the target.
