Three airmen of the 493rd Bomb Group with a B-24 Liberator nicknamed "IV F Sack Time Sally" decorated with the insignia of the 863rd Bomb Squadron. Handwritten caption on reverse: '863 BS, was 518 BS. UK? Appears to have 158 on nose. Hack A/C? 493 BG.' This aircraft was one of the original 13th Antisubmarine Squadron aircraft - the predecessors to the 493rd BG.
