"LT J.F. Cochran & crew of the 323rd Bomb Sq, 91st BG," the photo may actually be 2LT William Partridge & crew, which included 2LT Jay Cochran as copilot. Partridge was pilot-in-command for the crew's first nine missions aboard "Peace Or Bust" (B-17G 43-38939, coded OR-A) before Partridge was promoted to a Squadron Lead position.
