Additional info : Freeman's "The Mighty Eight War Diary" for 5 March 1945 : “25BG despatched 3 Mosquitoes “chaff” dispensing for bombers, 1 Mosquito as 2AD monitor (aborted) and 5 Mosquitoes on WR Continent/UK” Mosquito XVI Serial NS651 was piloted by Lt James C. EVANS. Take-off accident.
