An article George Amberg wrote while reporting and writing copy for the Fort Bliss, Texas Anti-Aircraft Training Center (AATC) public relations office, before he was accepted into the air corps. Ft. Bliss was his first duty station following his induction in June 1942. The Fort Bliss post newspaper was called "The Cavalcade."
