Lt. Leonard B. Fuller's P-51D......Myrt II. Myrt was a nickname used on the family farm in Linden NY. Photo was taken on July 4th by "one of the boys". He wrote to his parent's that he would send the picture home when he got it. He was killed 3 days later when his plane was hit by flak. The photo never made it home to his family. Incredibly the photo was found in fellow pilot Francis Eshelman's belongings by his son James who had just recently by chance made contact with researcher Donna Bonning.
