B-24H-20-DT #42-51093 no name Code: 6L-W 466th BG - 787th BS Just arrived aircraft, yet to be painted with squadron codes and group colors. Flying her first mission for the group in June, should would burned on her hardstand on 17 July 1944 due to an accident discharge of .50 guns into her fuel tanks. Thankfully there were no injuries. The damaged wing of B-24H-15-FO #42-52598 "Guess Who's Here" can be seen in the photos as well.
