Kelly Field, Texas, Advanced Fighter Training School. Colonel Hubert Zemke (56th Fighter Group) has handwritten on the reverse: 'Kelly Field, Texas looking from the west towards the city of San Antonio, Texas- also the flight line. Here Zemke spent his happiest flying time- Flying in P-12 airplanes- Dec 36, Jan & Feb 37. This field was then the Army Air Corps advanced flying school. This World War I airfield (all wooden hangar and [illegible] Bldg) is now all torn down and rebuilt.'
