Lieutenant Colonel Lucien "Pete" Dade and Captain Joseph H Sayers of the 56th Fighter Group during a visit to London, 1944. Hubert Zemke (56th Fighter Group has handwritten on the reverse: 'June 1944- London. Lt Col Lucien "Pete" Wade shooting the streets of London with the 63rd Fighter Squadron Captain Joseph H Sayers. Wade later became the last group CO of the 56th Fitr Group at Boxted as a Full Colonel. He served well as a Flt Leader- Group operations- Sqdn CO and lastly as Gp CO.'
