Printed caption on reverse: '65152 AC- Cpl Eldon E Haek, 333 States Street, Sedro Woolley, Washington, a painted for the 18th Fighter Squadron, 318th Fighter Group, sprays new black and yellow tail identification colours on the planes of his squadron. The new colour scheme, being adopted throughout the 318th Fighter Group is to meet a difficulty new to the veteran fighter group. For the first time, it must have markings which makes its planes easy to distinguish from planes of other Republic P-47 fighter groups.
