2Lt Scott along with 1Lt Girard remain unrecovered as yet. 

 

The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) announced today (Nov. 30, 2022) that U.S. Army Air Forces 2nd Lieutenant William Scott, 21, killed during World War II, was accounted for Nov. 28, 2022.
