Walter R Trainer Jr
Military ROLL OF HONOURETTG, Clore crew. 381st BG, 532nd BS, 8th AF. Killed in Action (KIA). Crashed shortly after TO near Hedingham on mission #56 to Kiel, Germany in B-17G #42-31278 'Mix Master'. T/Sgt Trainer was a former ground crew member who took gunnery training on base. He had 17 missions prior to joining the Clore crew. Originally buried in the Cambridge AMC.
