Thomas Hingston

Military

As a young sheetmetal worker, he was first sent to chemical warfare, then to the medics. Arriving in Britain, he was commandered to the 306th BG. His experiences waiting for the planes to return remained with him for life. I was reading the latest newsletters to him during his last days in the hospital and he still knew all the names, planes and other base locations. Stepping back into that long formation.
