CACCOMO. Sebastian J. Caccomo, 71, of East Hartford, husband of Antoinette Y. "Toni" (Poulin) Caccomo, died Tuesday (July 11, 1995) at Rockville General Hospital. He was born April 27, 1924, in New Britain, and had lived for most of his life in East Hartford. He had resided in Manchester for over 15 years. Prior to his retirement in 1980, he had been an Insurance Agent with the Home Life Insurance Co., and previously had worked for Metropolitan Life and Casualty Co. He was a veteran of World War II, had flown 35 missions as a bombardier with the 8th Air Force 447th Bomb Group, and had received decorations and citations, including the ETO Ribbon and the Air Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, a life member of the 8th Air Force Historical Society, a member of the Commanders Club for D.A.V.
