MilitaryServed almost 2 years at 389th BG Hethel, England and survived several fighter attacks on base. Close call was surviving a German V-2 attack several blocks away that blew up an entire block or two in London. Best memory was spending a week's furlow in Cornwall, England, near Plymouth.
