2 November 1944 Captured near Drosa, NW of Köthen, Germany. Wounded, was transported to hospital in Köthen. Interned later at Stalag Luft 3; force-marched to Stalag 7A Moosburg. Liberated there by US troops 29 April 1945. NARA WWII POW records : “Returned to Military Control 26 May 1945.”
