Sgt Norman Reck, enlisted 1942 Portland Oregon, was Killed in Action on the 20th February 1945 when B-17 43-38568 crashed in the River Deben at Ramsholt, Suffolk. This was his first flight with this crew.



Norman was assigned to the 863rd BS and had previously flown 3 combat missions as RCM operator with other crews from the 863rd BS.
