MilitaryMy unit '1755th Ordinance Co' left the US on May 5, 1943. The ship was the Queen Mary. Arrived May 11th in England. My job was to repair and operate most of the Heavy equipment on the base. Over the next 30 months we experienced things but we overcame the hardships because we knew we would win. We returned back to the US in Dec 45
