MilitaryAssigned to 737BS, 454BG, 15AF USAAF. Based at Cerignola, Italy. Joined the Aubrey Edwards crew as a spare gunner. Failed to Return (FTR) Graz, Austria in B-24 42-52225 'Moo Juice'. Wounded in face by 20mm whilst manning the tail position. Whilst being attended by the waist gunner, fire broke out in fuselage and Buffalino bailed out minus his parachute rather then be burnt alive. Killed in Action (KIA).
