Max Lloyd Hill

Military

Hill was a veteran of the First World War, and served with the 308th Field Signal Battalion of the US Army Signal Corps in France from June 1918 to July 1919.



In the 1930s he imported industrial equipment from the US the the UK, to found a dry cleaning company in the UK. Hill also founded the Max L Hill Printing company, which he ran for 30 years.



During the Second World War Hill served as an executive officer with the 364th Fighter Group
