Lloyd M Peacock
MilitaryDamaged by flak and crashed into North Sea in B-17 43-37763. Three of the crew bailed out and S/Sgt Peacock was picked up by an Air Sea Rescue launch some 45 minutes after being shot down as friendly fighters had radioed his position. He was possibly the sole survivor as no trace was found of the other two men.
