Lester Dichter
This is a picture of my Great Uncle Lester Dichter. I found this at my aunt's house (his niece). Lester disappeared during service and my mother tells me they look for him on the streets of Manhattan hoping they would find him. We discovered this homage to him in recent years.
Shot down by fighters and crashed into Baltic Sea on 6/20/44 in B-24 "Little Lulu" 42-110143 Killed in Action.
