Kenneth D Shaver
MilitaryShot down 5 November 1943 in B-17 42-30142 'Pistol Packin' Mama. ' Captured with crew mates at crash site. Escaped from a moving train outside of Rotterdam. Shaver, Buckner and Koenig were passed to Joke Folmer and then to Dutch-Paris. At the Dutch-Paris safe house on the rue Lhomond in Paris when it was raided on February 26, 1944. Walked out of Paris with Lt Clayton David, made it to Spain via Pau and Pamplona. Returned to the UK on 05/27/1944.
