Kenneth D Ranson

Kenneth was working for Lockheed Aircraft when the Japanese struck Pearl Harbour, he volunteered that very day. After training as crew chief and a ride over on the 'Queen Elizabeth' he joined the Group at Kings Cliffe which was then flying P-38's but changed to the P-51 in 1944. His day usually began at 4 am, doing pre-flight checks on his assigned aircraft. He was discharged in September 1945 and was working for FMC- Link Belt when he retired.
