"My dad, Joseph F. Doyle, was an original 'Skippy' crew member (navigator). He survived 25 missions over Germany and France, most being flown in Skippy. He told me that Skippy was a very reliable aircraft. I believe the Aircraft Commander had the last name of Harmon. My dad’s Skippy jacket is on display at the Pima Air and Space museum in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona." - via son Michael
