Germany 3 December 1943 Interned at Stalag XVIIB near Krems Austria. Killed while attempting to escape from the camp on 3 December 1943, together with S/Sgt Ralph E Lavoie (384th BG - 42-30143 - shot down 25 June 1943) and S/Sgt William H. Binnebose Jr (42-30274 - 95th BG - shot down 17 August 1943). Lavoie and Binnebose survived.
