T/O Thurleigh in B-17G 43-37967 on 28 Sept 1944. Target Magdeburg. Lost #1 and # two engines on way to tgt, decided to head towards Brusseels. Lost #3 engine and at 1445hrs crew bailed out (except for pilots).
