First generation American of Polish immigrants. Irwin “Barney” Barnett was born in the Bronx in September 13, 1923 and Died in Solana Beach California on September 5, 1993. He was a Toy Designer and he and his partner a marine wounded on Iwo Jima licensed the Etch A Sketch. Barney had three children, Catherine Anderson, David Barnett and Scott Barnett
