MilitaryFlew 30 missions, started out on B-17 'The Devil's Mate' but another crew took the plane and he flew on whatever plane needed him. Ditched at sea on the return from a mission to Berlin on 9 Mar 1944 in B-17G #42-31210. All the crew was rescued. RTD.
