Henry (Hank) E. Haines, born in Allentown, PA. Graduate of University of Iowa. B-17 Pilot. The plane, Lady Be Good, was one of the few planes to survive the attack on Poltava intact. Flew back to England via North Africa & Spain. Died in 1996 from lung cancer.
