Transferred 467th BG
On approaching to land, all four engines of the B24 Liberator, Broad+High, locked. The aircraft crashed in a field in Kirby Bedon, killing 4 crew members. T/Sgt George Lifschitz was one of those killed when the ship hit an embankment, causing the top turret to cave in.
