George Glenn Owen
MilitaryHe flew to England in 1942 on the B-17 41-24487 'Eager Beaver'. He was Communications Chief, which oversaw the work of all of the radio, teletype and other personnel working on communications equipment, etc.
Awards: WWII Victory, EAME.
Post war: He taught at Haskell Indian University Lawrence KS where he was honoured as 'Teacher of the Year'.
