From Appleton, WI, Lt. Eugene F. Dauchert enlisted in Madison on 10 December 1942. Assigned to the 368th Fighter Squadron on 17 August 1944, he flew eleven combat missions with the 359th Fighter Group before his transfer to the 3rd Gunnery and Tow-Target Flight on 21 February 1945.
Assigned to 368FS, 359FG, 8AF USAAF. Transferred to 3GTTF, 8AF USAAF.
Awards: WWII Victory, EAME, Soldiers medal.
