Post war: Remained in USAF, serving in both Korea and Vietnam rising to the rank of Major by 1960 when flying for 337 FIS, he was forced to 'take to the silk' on 13-Jun-60 for the 1st time in 18 years active flying duty. Went on to make Colonel before retiring.
